Exploding Beer

I would have guessed the bottle would have shattered, but the cap seems to act as a safety valve.

Beer slushy anyone?

The cap would definitely be the weak point of the bottle when it comes to freezing. But the real question is, why do you keep beer in your freezer?

What makes you think I keep beer in my freezer?

You mean those beers froze in your fridge and not the freezer?

No, they were in the freezer. But just because there was beer in the freezer doesn’t mean I keep beer in the freezer. Or that it was me that put it there :)

Fine. Let me be specific. What were those particular bottles doing in the freezer, given that you don’t necessarily keep beer in the freezer and also given that it may or may not have been you that put the bottles there?

    I don’t know. I wasn’t there. Presumably, they were getting cold :)

That’s just wrong. Anyone who treats a New Castle like that should have their New Castle Drinking Privileges suspended for six months, minimum. Shame on you.

Agree that last comment! Serving Newcastle Brown at anyting below about 40F just doesn’t bear (or beer!) thinking about!

Newcastle is the worst beer I’ve tried. Reminds me of Cuban beers
