Joel Bennet’s Acronym Replacer2.6 2.8Ryan Boren’s Search Hilite 1.2My hacked version of Dean Logan’s wp-people 1.4.I’m now using the plugin I’ve created from Dean Logan’s work and named xfn-people 0.1 [12.05.2004]0.2.
My version
of wp-peopledoesn’t use popups; it uses an appearing/disappearing div box. It also uses WordPress’ native links database (rather than the original’s proprietary database) and can therefore easily include xfn data. It also handles the coincidental name within an html tag issue better (i.e. src=”gregheidi.JPG”) (by means of modifying a suggestion found on this site [search for "iaym"]). The dynamically generated file is also better size optimized (I removed the javascript from each post and put it into the head).
My hacked version of Ryan Meyers’ Cutter 0.41 [10.06.2004]
The version I use has better permalink referencing. Also, the link on the main page takes the browser to a well chosen anchor on the post page, so the text is positioned for better readability/continuity.
SideNote0.1 [10.23.2004]0.3 0.3.1.

I highly doubt you have comments working on your “fully armed and operational” blog. May this prove me wrong.
UPDATE.10.6.2004
Upgraded wordpress to 1.2.1 and added Cutter
bitch, my comments work! working on getting a ref back to you but it’s slow going rolling your own in grad school.
UPDATE.10.23.04
Added SideNote and Latexrender
UPDATE.10.30.04
Updated SideNote to handle general HTML as well as custom phot galleries.
UPDATE.11.27.04
Installed Kitten’s Show Categories 1.4 Plugin
UPDATE.11.28.04
Installed James Van Lommel’s RunPHP 1.1
UPDATE.12.2.2004
Made SideNote (0.3.1) compatible with 1.2.x (with a couple mods to the core re addslashes/stripslashes) and 1.3 (without modification).
UPDATE.12.4.2004
Moved to 1.3-alpha. Hope it works. Made the people bit a plugin so things go a bit faster and incorporated it better into WordPress. It also supports xfn. Got rid of Show Categories (WordPress 1.3 can do this now with just a bit of effort on my part). Also, booted cutter as it seems (*sheepish*) that Wordpress can do natively what I’ve been using it to do all along. But thanks anyway, Ryan Meyers. I’ve used bits of your code elsewhere.
UPDATE.1.2.2005
Still using current CVS. The version’s been bumped and it’s now in beta.
UPDATE.1.3.2005
Upraged server.
UPDATE.1.23.2005
Installed Customizable Post Listings for the Recent Discussion bit. I thought it might be nice if people could see which posts were those with the most recent comments.
UPDATE.2.3.2005
WordPress version bump to 1.5-gamma.
UPDATE.3.11.2005
I ditched the Acronym plugin some time ago and upgraded xfn-people for more efficient processing.
UPDATE.7.28.2005
Ditched runphp awhile ago. Also added Permalinks Redirect, Bad Behavior and Trackback Moderation some time ago.
TextDrive today. Rock, Rock on.
UPDATE.2.1.2006
Added Skippy’s WP-Cron and WP DB Backup a while ago.
Just upgradded to WP2.0.1
Hey, never heard of “xfn” before, glad you were able to use my old plug-in and make it better. I recently got rid of the pop-up window part, it now uses a div pop-up. But, I like the xfn thing that you have done. Good work.
Is xfn-people 0.2 public plugin?
LaSet, no. I recently spoke to Dean Logan, and he may re-release his old wp-people plugin.

Any update on the possible re-release of the wp-people plugin?
